Computer Technology Based Automation of Operating Continuous Rolling Mills

Abstract: For the continuous rolling mills that operate in Ukraine it is important to provide maximum use of the existing equipment as for improvement prodaction quality as for shortening the idle time and metal losses coused by the rolling technological mode adjustment. One of this problem solutions is automation the mills on the basis of computer technologies. The experience that the National mining University has in the field of continuous smallrange a wire rolling mills of "Krivorodzstal" automation confirms the considered way of the continuous rolling mills automation effectiveness.
